About Kayla
I am an MD/PhD student pursuing doctoral research with a focus on epilepsy and deep brain stimulation. I hold a BA in Neuroscience with honors from Swarthmore College and an MS in Human Nutrition from Columbia University. My academic, clinical, and research experiences have shaped an interdisciplinary perspective on medicine, with interests spanning neuromodulation, photobiomodulation, metabolic therapeutics, and wearable technologies to advance personalized care and improve patient outcomes.
