What we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us:

• Account details: your name, email, and, if you add them, a profile photo and birthday
• Your membership type and any membership offers you receive
• Messages you send through the contact form and private chats with our experts
• Event RSVPs, including your name, email, optional phone number, and guest count
• Your email and notification preferences, and a record of your cookie consent choices (categories chosen, timestamp, and general region)
• If you use our mobile app and allow it, a device token so we can send you notifications

Why we collect it

We use this information to reply to your messages, manage your membership and events, connect you with our experts, and send the emails you signed up for. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Private expert chats

When you chat with one of our experts, your messages are visible to that expert and to our administrators. The expert can see your name, email, membership type, birthday (if provided), and the date you joined, so they can help you. Notifications about new messages never include the message text.

Emails and unsubscribing

New free members receive a short welcome series and occasional newsletter and member offers. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can turn marketing emails off at any time from your dashboard. Account and membership emails are still sent while your account is active.

Legal basis

We process your information on the basis of your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries you initiate.

Third parties

This site uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location. Google Analytics sets cookies only if you allow analytics in our cookie settings; without that consent, only cookieless, anonymous signals are sent. Data is processed by Google under its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We do not use advertising or marketing tools. You can change your choice at any time in Cookie Settings.

Data retention

We keep contact messages and membership accounts for as long as needed to serve the purpose you gave them to us for, and consent logs for as long as required to demonstrate compliance. You may delete your account yourself from your dashboard, or request deletion at any time.

International transfer

Our infrastructure is hosted on servers located in the United States. By using this site, you understand that your information is processed and stored in the US.
